History of Micro Rollers ChampionChips
The Micro Rollers ChampionChips is a tournament series that dates back to the very origins of Ontario online poker, back in 2022.
That year, 888poker ON launched the series for the first time, paying over $85,000 in prizes across the series, and it only grew bigger since.
In 2023, the series came back and boasted an even bigger guarantee and even more eventful schedule, making it one of the most attractive series for low stakes tournament players in North America.
Now, Micro Rollers ChampionChips is back, and it brings a prize pool of over $100,000, the majority of which will be paid out across the 21 numbered events that will run over all nine days of the festival.
ChampionChips Highlights and Schedule
Among the 21 numbered ChampionChips events, there are two that take a very special place, as they combine for nearly 60% of the overall prize pool.
The first of those is Event #2, the $30,000 Mystery Bounty Opening Ceremony, which comes with the highest buyin of the series at $109.
The event will be played on April 14, the first day of the series, making it imperative to be there from the very start if you want to take full advantage of the ChampionChips.
The $30,000 Mystery Bounty Main Event also starts on April 14, but will feature multiple Day 1 flights across the entire duration of the festival, concluding in a Day 2 on the April 22.
The tournament will feature a $60 buyin, with all survivors of the various Day 1 flights coming together and fighting for valuable mystery bounties on the final day of the series.
