Aristocrat Interactive has rolled out Lightning Link High Stakes on regulated online casino platforms across the U.S. states and Canadian provinces where online gaming is legal, marking the franchise’s real-money online debut in North America. The game is being offered on mobile casino apps and, according to the company, is part of a network rollout supported by major operators.

According to a PRNewswire release, Aristocrat Interactive said the launch brings the Lightning Link franchise to online players in those markets for the first time and that more titles from the series are planned for the coming months. The company also said Lightning Link was a global phenomenon that premiered more than a decade ago and has remained a leading land-based game family ever since.

Lightning Link High Stakes is built around the Hold & Spin mechanic. It also adds multi-denomination play, Cash-on-Reels, the Big Reel feature in Free Games, where the center reels merge into one giant symbol, and shared progressive jackpots including a Grand Jackpot.

Aristocrat Interactive chief executive Dylan Slaney said the launch brings one of the most successful land-based slot game families in history to online players across the U.S. and Canada. He described it as a full-scale network rollout supported by the industry’s largest operators, with a roadmap of subsequent titles.

Aristocrat Interactive is the online real-money gaming division of Aristocrat. The company said it was formed in 2024 from the combination of Anaxi and the NeoGames businesses, including NeoGames, Aspire Global, BtoBet and Pariplay.

Separately, the company’s website said Aristocrat Interactive “launched in Alberta”:https://aristocratinteractive.com/aristocrat-interactive-secures-day-one-leadership-in-albertas-new-regulated-online-gaming-landscape/’s expanding online commercial gaming market on 13 July, after the province moved from a government-run monopoly to a regulated, multi-operator model. It said nearly 40 games were deployed simultaneously across a broad customer roster, with Buffalo and Mo Mummy in the initial wave.

The Alberta site said Lightning Link was scheduled to go live in the province on 23 July, and that the games were purpose-built for the regulated market with localized content and adapted gameplay. It also said the rollout built on a relationship with PlayAlberta.ca dating back to July 2024 and strengthened the company’s Canadian footprint in British Columbia, Atlantic Canada, Ontario and Québec.
