PokerStars on FanDuel is continuing its football-themed Spin & Goal promotion in Ontario, offering a $1 million top jackpot on a $5 buy-in. The game is also available in New Jersey, Michigan and Pennsylvania, placing the same promotional format across the operator’s regulated U.S. markets and Ontario.
The football version is also referred to as Spin & Field Goal. It is a three-player, hyper-turbo, winner-takes-all lottery sit-and-go in which the prize pool is randomly set at or around the start of each game. The $1 million headline prize represents a 200,000-times multiplier, with odds of roughly one in 100 million games.
The more attainable $250 prize, a 50-times multiplier, occurred about once every 2,000 games and had been triggered daily across the network. The regular $5 Spin & Go game has a maximum prize of $50,000, making the promotional top prize 20 times larger.
The promotion began as a soccer-themed Spin & Goal campaign tied to the World Cup and was retained after drawing player interest, then rebranded for football season. The original campaign had appeared in earlier forms during the 2014 World Cup and Euro 2020.
Ontario’s C$5 version had recorded about 377,500 games and 1.13 million entries by the October report, including roughly 165,700 entries made with promotional tickets. Total cash awarded in Ontario had reached C$5.17 million.
Across the U.S. network, the same $5 promotion had generated 1.05 million games and 3.15 million entries, with $14.38 million in cash prizes distributed. New customers initially received two complimentary $5 entries; the offer was later expanded to six tickets worth $30.
The continuing jackpot campaign follows PokerStars on FanDuel Ontario’s September Summer Sendoff centroll series, which we covered at the time. At the $5 level, Pokerfuse described Spin & Field Goal as the only lottery sit-and-go in the regulated U.S. and Ontario markets with a seven-figure top prize; comparable maximums cited for rivals ranged from $7,500 at BetRivers Poker to about $35,000 at WSOP Online and DraftKings.
