BetMGM has extended its Marriott Bonvoy rewards collaboration into Alberta, giving eligible players there a way to link accounts and convert BetMGM Rewards points into Marriott Bonvoy points. Those points can be redeemed for stays and experiences worldwide.

A joint release said customers can connect through the BetMGM mobile app, the website or the Rewards Store by opening “My Rewards” in their account profile. The same partnership is already available to eligible customers in Ontario.

The Alberta rollout builds on a rewards program that debuted in the United States in 2024. BetMGM’s chief executive, Adam Greenblatt, called the Marriott Bonvoy tie-up a “powerful differentiator” and said it gives Albertans “tremendous flexibility on points redemption.”

The expansion comes as Alberta’s regulated competitive iGaming market launched on July 13. BetMGM was one of 22 iGaming sites that went live that day, and 26 sites are now operating in the province.

In Ontario, BetMGM has offered regulated sportsbook and iGaming products since the market opened in April 2022. Cision reported that Ontario opened to private operators that year after nearly 50 years under government control, and that it generated about $10 billion in gross gaming revenue within four years.
