The Chinese New Year festival kicked off on January 13 with a handful of exciting events, and it is worth noting that nearly all of these events met their guarantees and attracted many players.
Over 400 players have entered some of the smaller buy-in events already. A record of 527 entries was made into the $100 Sunday Special, beating the $50k guarantee and making this 2-day event a real thrill for anyone who entered it last Sunday.

Plenty of other progressive KO and freezeout events will play out over the next week, with most of them played over NLH tables and a handful of PLO and PLO8 events in the cards.
