PokerStars Ontario certainly kicked off 2023 in style, launching several exciting tournament series and announcing a big year ahead.
Just as the 50/50 Series came to a successful end, the operator has launched its first-ever Bounty Builder Series, a festival of progressive knockout tournaments that will give away a total of at least CAD $700,000 over 18 days.
The Series launched on February 18. They will run through March 6, leaving plenty of room to get in on the action and participate in the most significant events of the latest PokerStars Ontario festival.
The Bounty Builder Series will offer events for every buy-in level, with entry fees varying between $5 and $1000, and 100 events, some with highly appealing guaranteed prize pools that might offer overlay and extra value.
Progressive KO Action Galore
The first-ever Bounty Builder Series at PokerStars Ontario features an extensive schedule with 100 unique events and a wide buy-in range that allows all players to join in the action.
The Series kicked off on Saturday with an exciting $100 PKO event featuring a $10,000 guarantee and other lower buy-in events for everyone who did not want to risk the relatively high entry fee for the big one.
Moving forward, there will be at least four events each day, with Saturdays and Sundays offering a broader schedule with more events and bigger guarantees.
While most players are used to PKO events at No-Limit Hold 'em tables, the Bounty Builder Series will offer events in other forms of poker, such as PLO, HORSE, 8-Game, Draw Poker, and much more.
High rollers will be able to try their luck in the $1000 PKO event with a $35,000 guarantee on February 26, while several $50 events with four-figure guarantees will also play out throughout the Series and offer plenty of value for everyone involved.
The low buy-in events, which will come in the dozens across the next couple of weeks, all have relatively modest prize pools but also provide an excellent opportunity to build up a bankroll and have a real shot of winning big money in the higher events later in the Series.
Main Event to Feature a $75,000 Prize Pool
The main highlight of the Bounty Builder Series at PokerStars Ontario will come on Sunday, March 5, in the form of the $200 Main Event, featuring an outstanding $75,000 guaranteed prize pool.
$100 from each buy-in will go towards the progressive knockout prize pool, while the remaining money will be added to the regular prize pool, giving players an excellent opportunity to cash big both ways.
The slowly escalating blinds and the deep starting stack will make the Main Event an exciting tournament with lots of play and an excellent opportunity for the best players to come out on top.
