Betty Reports Record Q3 Revenue as Alberta Begins Contributing

Betty Canada reported record third-quarter net revenue of CA$111 million across its regulated Ontario and Alberta operations, up 23% from the second quarter. The result reflected continued Ontario growth and contribution from Alberta after its July launch.

There is a currency discrepancy in accounts of the results. Gaming Intelligence reported the figures on Oct. 30 and described combined revenue as CA$111 million, while Casino.org reported US$111 million. Casino.org put Ontario’s contribution at about US$101 million, up US$11 million from the previous quarter, and Alberta’s at nearly US$10 million.

More than 214,000 players placed cash bets on Betty.ca in September, 28% more than in June. Ontario monthly active players reached 182,000 in September, while Alberta peaked at 31,600 active players and generated $4.7 million in monthly net revenue, compared with $3.4 million in August and $1.7 million in July.

Early competitive data indicated that Betty held the top position in Alberta slots market share after going live there on July 13. It also claimed more than 20% of Ontario’s online casino market during the third quarter.

Alberta attracted 42,831 new depositors during the quarter, including more than 10,000 pre-launch sign-ups. The company spent $14.1 million on acquisition in the province between July and September. Net revenue per Alberta active player increased from $126 in August to $149 in September, while the retained-player share rose from 48% to 62%; Betty cited a 90% figure for Ontario.

In Ontario, advertising spend fell 12% quarter over quarter to $15 million, but organic new-depositor acquisition grew 19%. Total new depositors rose 6% to 56,702 and customer acquisition cost fell by almost $40 to $313. Net revenue per active player was $193 in July, $195 in August and $183 in September.

Betty launched its first original slot, Vault Wreckers, in Ontario on Aug. 31 and Alberta on Sept. 17. The game drew 50,841 active players in its first seven days, averaging 307 rounds per player for 15.6 million rounds, and had Betty’s highest opening-week round count among its 2026 Ontario releases.

Bingo was another growth area. Betty Bingo generated $911,000 in third-quarter net gaming revenue, a 78% increase from the second quarter, with September setting a record of $394,000. Bingo and Mini Slots together produced $1.3 million during the quarter and $581,000 in September.

Some 71,000 players used bingo in September, equal to 39% of Betty’s Ontario monthly active players. Mini Slots was used by 77% of bingo players, while Saturday bingo events attracted as many as 7,000 weekly participants.

The Alberta expansion followed the province’s July 13 opening of its regulated iGaming market, whose first three months of market performance we reported in October. Alberta accounted for 12% of Betty’s total revenue in September, and the company expects that share to reach 27% by December 2027.
